The Uganda National Students Association is a body that brings together all the students in Uganda at different levels of learning.
At the start of the week, the leadership network for students in UNSA convened at the National Leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi district to be equipped with leadership skills.
The Office of the National Chairman – Kyambogo a cornerstone of the Bazzukulu in Uganda took part in this ongoing training with its representation by the National coordinator in charge of institutions Mr. Chris Miyingo.
In our telephone conversation with Mr.Miyingo, he informed our desk that, these are potential citizens who must be aligned with the government programs to timely mitigate concerns like unemployment and closing the information gap.
He further informed us that, all institutions of higher learning are represented by their student leaders, and resolutions with be made at the end of the training.
Mr Ogwen Alfred a muzzukulu from Bukedi also informed us that the retreat is not about politics but guaranteeing that student leaders understand and contribute to achieving the country’s development agenda mainly Vision 2040 and as the leadership of UNSA is ensuring that, institutional students are equipped with the right information.
