Today the Ishaka Adventist Hospital had a 75yr anniversary run for a healthy mother and child- “we care God Heals” that was meant to fundraise for the construction of a maternity child healthy block.
The grand fundraising has engaged many sports activities and games that include the morning run, and football games from various teams 12 in number. The chief runners Hon. Katusiime Annet Woman MP Bushenyi and Hon. Kabuura Derrick MP for Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality graced the occasion, the district Chairman LC.V Governor Jaffari Bassajabalaba, Deputy RDC Bushenyi Madam Atuhaire Rosemary, Executive Director Ishaka Adventist Hospital and Staff among many other stakeholders.
Mr. Mugisha Benson, the Coordinator of the Office of the National Chairman NRM-Kyambogo for Greater Bushenyi Sub-Region, engaged the citizenry and participants in this activity being the fact that the office of the national chairman supports such activities of development for all Ugandans.
“We are still fundraising for this noble cause and next week we shall have a subsequent final grand finale fundraising on the 18th of June 2023 where the deputy speaker of parliament Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa will be the Chief guest much on still as the Ishaka Adventist Hospital will be celebrating its 75th anniversary.” He said
