A group of Members of Parliament from the Democratic Republic of Congo who represent areas of Bunya, Aru, Mahagi, Irumu, and Mambasa paid a courtesy visit to H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in Kyankwanzi today.

Among other things, they brought acknowledgment and thanks from the people that they represent, the good work done by the UPDF in their part of the operation, and thanked the people of Uganda for always exhibiting good neighborliness whenever there is a need.

“This is on account of our ideology, which H.E. Tshisekedi has supported. In that regard, we have discussed proposals to strengthen business, trade, security, and diplomatic ties, including opening consulates in Bunya and Arua.” Said Museveni
