The Christian pilgrims from across Uganda have started to arrive at Namugongo Catholic Shrine ahead of the commemoration of the Uganda Martyrs on 3rd June 2023
Before starting on their journey, the pilgrims are taken through days of spiritual retreats to prepare them and to make them understand the significance of the journey to Namugongo and other designated important places.
Office of the National Chairman Coordinators of Greater Mbarara team led by Mr. Muhangi Zephline arrived at Nalukolongo bakateyamba home and started welcoming pilgrims from Kibona Parish and Katete Parish Mbarara ahead of Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations in Namugongo.
Various donations were given, including Sodas, Mineral water, Glucose, and ointments.

They thanked the team for identifying and helping the pilgrims walking on foot from Mbarara to Namugongo, Kampala.

As a norm, they prayed to the team to receive endless blessings, the ONC Office under the stewardship of SPA/PA Hajjati Hadijja Namyalo Uzeiye H.E. President Museveni, and the country at large.
