The Stakeholders in Namutumba District, Busoga Sub-Region have said they will ensure that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni emerges triumphant in the 2026 general elections as Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba waits for the right time.
This was during the launch of Team Chairman MK Movement structures in the District, a mobilization group that has been promoting Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the former commander of land forces.
Team Chairman MK Movement is headed by Toyota Micheal Nuwagira, Museveni’s young brother who has spearheaded mobilization countrywide.
The Busoga sub-region Team Chairman MK Movement Chairperson Hajji Mudiba Saadi said the citizens should support, sustain and monitor what the NRM Government has implemented in the sectors of Roads, Education, Health, Water, and Electricity supply and continue loving our NRM government which spearheaded by the father of the region Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa.
He called on the people of Namutumba to ensure that they engage in wealth-creation projects to fight poverty in their homes adding that while it is the role of the Government to ensure development, it is everyone’s task to ensure that they have wealth in their homes as they mobilize for President Museveni.
The launch held at Agape Secondary School on Friday 26 May 2023, was attended by security, political and religious leaders who hailed the Team Chairman for the inclusive approach in their mobilization strategy.
Mr Nkumalwoto Wambwa, the Team Chairman MK Movement Chairperson for Namutumba District assured the country that the district will be an icon in mobilizing for President Museveni under Team Chairman as Gen. Muhoozi waits for the right time.
Denis Balondemu, the regional coordinator applauded the members for their zeal in ensuring that Team Chairman Structures develop from the ground, and urged them to be exemplary while mobilizing.
Team Chairman MK Movement has in recent months launched structures in various parts of the country and established several projects that have helped transform the society within and outside Kampala in addition to what the NRM government is doing.
