The head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC)-NRM Kyambogo, SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye who was earlier today received by a group of President Museveni supporters led by Minister Haruna Kasolo, NRM Vice Chairman Godfrey Kiwanda Ssuubi and RCC Hudu Hussein at Masaka Liberation Centre to take part in preparations for Presidential Tour taking place from 23rd – 24th May in Greater Masaka on the theme of “Securing Your Future through Wealth Creation & Shared Prosperity”, this brought business in Masaka City to a standstill as they led a procession of Masaka City residents to Nyendo Market.
The ONC Head SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo rounded off the day with the distribution of hybrid goats, hair dryers, and sewing machines to residents of Nyendo in Masaka City. These are part of a self-empowerment campaign she launched last month in Greater Luwero.
The NRM National Chairman H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni through the head ONC SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijja Namyalo has donated 20 hybrid goats,10 sewing machines, 8 big women’s dryers, and 10 haircutting machines to the people of Nyendo kasana.
The program is part of President Yoweri Museveni’s wider wealth creation drive aimed at boosting the household incomes of Ugandans.
Wealth creation discussions will dominate President Yoweri Museveni’s engagements with greater Masaka residents on Tuesday and Wednesday.
