A group of NRM Youths of Bukomansimbi led by the Bukomansimbi NRM District Chairperson, Mr. Shafic Mwanje paid a courtesy visit to the head of Office of the National Chairman (ONC) NRM-Kyambogo SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijja Namyalo Uzeiye at her office in Kyambogo today.
These Bazzukulu were a fraction of those that were beneficiaries of Hajjat Hadijjah’s self empowerment campaign where she donated hybrid goats, chicks, poultry feeds, sewing machines, salon equipments, and others to the youths, women and people living with disabilities in district while marking women’s day celebrations of Bukomansimbi on 25th April of this year.
The purpose of this visit by these Bazzukulu was to extend a token of appreciation to Hajjat Hadijja Namyalo for the initiative that is aimed at poverty alleviation and boosting on household incomes for the people and also to request for more youth to be considered for the program. As a sign of appreciation, they carried along a goat, chicken and bunches of Matooke which were handed over to the Senior Presidential Advisor on political affairs.

In her address to these youths, SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah thanked them for their thoughtfulness and spirit of appreciation but reminded them that the donation was not from her but H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, emphasizing that she is simply a messenger.
“I am happy that the items delivered to the youths as startup capital haven’t been misused and this will encourage H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to add more from time to time” she added
