Canada NRM_Chapter Symposium-2023

The Chairperson of Canada NRM Chapter, Mr. Kinene Fred, has revealed that final preparations for the Canada NRM Chapter Symposium 2023 are in high gear. The event is slated for July 7-9, in Brampton, Ontario – Canada.

The Symposium will be headlined by 3rd Deputy Premier, Rt. Hon. Lukia Nakadama, alongside Presidency Minister, Hon. Milly Babalanda, Kampala Metropolitan Affairs Minister, Hon. Hajjat Minsa Kabanda, & Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs, Ambassador Hajji Abbey Walusimbi, MPs on the Committee, and Deputy Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Namayanja Rose Nsereko.

As part of the preparations, the Chapter leadership has held several engagements, to affirm that the event will be about unity, dialogue & a prosperous diaspora.

Notably, the event will focus on investment opportunities for Ugandans in Canada. In addition, a number of expectations, such as strengthening good working relations, tightening the party’s roots, trade, among others are on the bucket list.

The Symposium will also offer an opportunity for participants to learn about investment, and how one can be able to partake the vast opportunities in Canada. More so, it will enable interactions with business people interested in investing back home, in a bid to create employment, transfer technology, entrepreneurial ideas, & boost reinvestment in Uganda’s economy.

In relation to the above, the event will be used to encourage Ugandan diasporas to embrace dialogue & unity in order to build a robust Diaspora community, which can continuously contribute to the country’s economy.

Summarily, the event will provide a platform for networking, marketing & business matchmaking, markets’ knowledge sharing, Business to Business/Government to Government meetings, & deal making.
