Today marked the end of the Masaza tournament at Wankulukuku Stadium with Busiro winning the trophy against Buddu 2:1.
The Head ONC, SPA/Political Affairs also chief Muzzukuu Hajjat Namyalo Hadijah Uzeiye have joined Prince Wassajja Kintu, LOP Hon. Mathias Mpuuga, and other Ugandans to watch the match live. She was accompanied by the ONC (Office of the NRM national chairman) coordinators and Bazzukulu from the ghetto, institutions of higher learning, and the National Youth Council where she secured entry tickets worth Ugx 10m.
The SPA/Political Affairs has congratulated all the counties that participated in the Masaza tournament and Ugandans who have supported throughout, and more the champions -Busiro county.
She has praised the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II for fronting sports that, she thinks is a tool for unifying Ugandans irrespective of their divisions in political ideology and pledged full support to all activities of the Kingdom to sustain the relationship of the NRM party, Buganda Kingdom and other cultural institutions.
The spokesperson ONC Haji Kitatta Ibrahim who accompanied his boss has conceded Buddu County’s loss to Busiro County and appreciated the people of Buddu for turning up in big numbers.
He has remarked that ONC has a strong working relationship with the Buganda Kingdom and other cultural institutions and is to continue enabling such collaborations for the unity of Ugandans.
The Katikiiro Charles Peter Mayiga has expressed gratitude to the people of Buganda, Uganda, and the partners that continuously financially support the Masaza tournament.
